What is going on at USYS Southern Regionals? Day 2

WEATHER DELAY IN MURFREESBORO-DELAY BEGAN AT 9:50 AM CDT. 10 AM GAMES PUSHED BACK!
GAMES RESUMED AT @ 2 PM. Times of some games have changed (see below)

The USYS Southern Regionals are a 6 day event beginning Friday June 17 and will end with championship games on Wednesday June 22. Winners will advance to the USYS National Championships in Phoenix in late July. Three single game days of round robin play where two teams from each 4 team group will advance to the Monday quarterfinals (except in U19 where only 4 of the 12 teams qualify for Tuesday's semi-finals). All games are being played in Murfreesboro, TN near Nashville. I will try to update the blog many times per day to keep folks up to speed.

Two 2nd half goals by Concorde spelled doom for CASL in a very competitive game. CASL scored a great goal as Dom Jensen's skim header found Hank Gauger's feet and Hank finished with authority!

A deflected cross near the end of the 1st half provided Brentwood with the lead. No goals by either side were scored in a very hard fought 2nd 1/2. Thus the team from TN prevailed.
